Psychosis of a Matter
(I've got Friends in Dark Places)
We are never truly alone if we know how to look.
Driven by a need for presence in the void, I began to identify human forms in the textures of shadow.
These are my "friends" - the sentinels that stood guard when the world felt empty.
Utilizing "Black Crushing" techniques learned from the live stage, this work buries the noise in deep shadows, forcing these silent companions to step into the light.
This is a record of the presences we extract from the dark just to survive the silence.
Each piece is printed on; archival-grade pearl photo paper 310gsm, mounted on Dibond with a solid black Linden float frame to preserve the depth of the shadows.
Custom dimensions and private commissions are available upon request.
